Never at any moment this site was offline. It wasn’t planned either. Just my fucking.hoster.screwed.things.up yesterday. ‘I thought I had a backup’ were the last words of a former IT’er. So did I. Yesterday I was playing a little with some other platforms, not to change this blog yet, but mainly because of the media site I will built in the next period and my hoster lost connection with the Level3 network. Last week there were ‘big’ problems in the UK with that network. Moments, hours Ebay and Google where not reachable. Can anyone imagine a life without google ?!?!
My last week at work and then… … … relax and looking for a life. I might bartend a while before leaving for the States, I don’t know yet. But first I will enjoy not being among the daily nerds anymore. And having time and energy to work at my projects.

Nope blogger wasn’t down, some people though I was, because I had the archive page up while (trying to import) moving to WP. And then my hoster lost his connection with a big backbone center here in the UK. :P

Lysie :: my hoster is fine, otherwise it wouldn’t be my hoster and trust me I charge the servers.
There were big problems with a network last week (Level3), certain moments we didn’t even have google or ebay in the UK. A whole block of the Level3 network felt out. I bet you can imagine that those problems aren’t always solved within some hours (actually 98% was solved after 6 hours), but I guess there been improvements made non-stop in the days after the fall out. One of those (few) interuptions also interupted my ‘plying’.
I thought I had a backup.
Dawn :: I am probably one of the only people who heart blogger. Especially for a free service (but I will still move my blog, and actually I started to like WP alot, especially some of the AJAX (Asynchronous Javascript And XML) plug-ins)
Kimi :: Sooo true, just too bad that that many g33ks turn into nerds after a while.

I also heart blogger. But I’ve been bothered lately by the fact that I get error messages on my and other people’s blogspot blog. And just recently, I published my whole template and everything in it went kaput. Good thing I had a back-up.

Maybe you should try a profession of a busboy, before you leave for the US.
See, it’s always good here to have some job experience when applying jobs…
