Am I Famous Now…

i never look back he always told everyone

Until the day came he went back on his own steps. He accepted a job he had left only some months before.
Better conditions and freelance this time.

The dream of a quiet life will have to wait a little more. Just because he likes to work to forget to be busy.

What is he on this time?

You better stop buying pr0n with a certain credit card, especially if the color of it is black, because I certainly need to spice up my blog a little more!

Whom do I have to thank for this? Microsoft for finally finishing a new operating system? My little adventure 8 years ago?

I don’t want to know, but what I do know is that they have been reading this diary all the time. Not only did they hate it months ago, now they even seem to have someone who really knows me. The mail conversations we had in the last days have certainly shown they have discovered more about me than they have ever known before [sighs].
That said, I wonder if they discovered the truth behind this entry?

So on monday we finalize the deal. Although this time I will mainly work from home, on monday I will meet some former colleagues. I bet they are already looking forward to this. To the guy who never obeyed to their stupid dress-code. But that day I’ll dress to impress.
Courtesy of Giorgio. ;-)

On a side note, I published the (non-worked) story for the three of you who still read here. Watch out it is long really long.

jay, yes I have tested every build since Build 44** when it was still called Longhorn and people were complaining about Palladium and TCPA in the new windows.
The security features are nothing else than a nuisance to users who know what they are doing

Croaker, everything has his price, and so far, today, I can’t say it is worth the price, but more on that in a near future. ;-)

Jay, expect new and major features to be rolled out with updates over the next months. MS has planned several new features, and already tried out many of them, but not included them or even removed them from Vista.
Soon to come DirectX 10, a photo editing package with easy uploading to Windows Live, .NET3.0 and many more.

Oh and forgotten : you’re beta trick to pass activation places a time bomb on your installation. If one day you decide to buy a legal version (I don’t respect people who use illegal operating systems), you probably will have to reinstall everything.
All common beta keys will be excluded from updates on Juli 1st 2007 and non-activated Vista installations will have limited features.

    And now I’ll shuttup. ;-)

[...] What did you do in 2006 that you’ve never done before? I came back on a professional decision. Full coverage here. Did you keep your New Years’ resolutions and will you make more for next year? Based on those resolutions I can say I screwed up most of ‘em. My resolution for the new year is 1680*1050. I can’t imagine that changing any time soon. If a were to make a real resolution it would be to pay less taxes. [...]
