I am back. 27 fucking hours I had problems to reach any of the sites on this server. 24 hours I couldn’t reach them at all. Loads of furious mail/support tickets later it appeared my IP got blocked on the server due to ‘too many apache connections’.
WTF, maybe most I had running at the same time in 5 weeks were 3 ftp connections, all uploading at the same time. That shouldn’t trigger any fucking apache alert. Maybe 2-3 people in this network where online. They even don’t know the site, most don’t.
So what happened? No idea, but I do know one thing. I got RAW-logs and I got admin access to the server, also in this network. I really do hope no fucking damn single person has used his remote connection. I really hope you didn’t. Trust me I’ll get your balls. I’ll get your laptop as well. Oh yeah I will and that’s a promise. I’ll make sure you put no foot in this house anymore if it were you.
Someone else hacked the server or spoofed the IP? Hmmm maybe, in that case I have to admit you’re good, but trust me I am better.
27 hours. I have 5 sites to finish within the next 25 hours. 3 are really important. I’ll get you. And remember this, it’s a promise. It’s a genuine one.
