Since several months I have been reading Liz Strauss’s Successful Blog because Liz is RAWR has interesting advice on marketing and blogging, but also many helpful life entries.
Liz is an inspiration to anyone.
When I start reading a blog, most of time I hide months long in my (offline) feed reader and enjoy the incognito status. Sometimes I will unhide and come with a snarky, most of time not that much appreciated comment. Sorry Brian.
But it means my entry at that blog. That is how it usually goes.
Last weeks I have been unhiding more and more and this mainly because I started writing at JOAB. The reason behind this is not to promote myself as the JOAB writer, I still have problems losing my identity just because I blog at another blog, but basically because the people who I suspect (still) read JOAB know it is *I*
Exactly this happened over at Successful Blog and for once I even used the JOAB URI. Mess my OPML file has become I can’t prove I have been reading Liz’s blog since a while already and just unlurked now1.
Big was my surprise today when I noticed the damage this created. I couldn’t believe my eyes, but one entry at Liz’s and a whole world felt together. What has happened to Successfull Blog?
I became a SOB?!?!
Liz, may I suggest you not too drink this much during this festive period. ;-)
