Instead of working at some designs1 or even getting rid of the horrible colour scheme here. Or bitch at Leopard, I decided to do what I always already wanted to do. To do it today.
Start to import all the stuff2 I own and put that stuff online.
Squirl is an awesome service, but why maintain one more social profile and most of all, why bother paying and give the affiliate to someone else? I already do that with last.fm, but I actually do get some functionality out of that service. Some.
Enter Delicious Library3. While we are awaiting the release of Delicious Library 2.0, with web export, I starting importing data. And exporting them to the web, thanks to the DeliciWeb script.
I admit… iframes suck, the design majorly sucks as well and maybe I should first have discovered the pedias because they import from more than just the Amazon library and some items I could not find in the correct version at Amazon, but it’s a start. And I’m new to Mac4.
But so far, the around 25% of items I already have imported, and exported to the web, will have to do it. I’ll update the media library as I import more items.
And I’m pretty sure this will make JoeFish whip out a sweet plug-in for WP soon. :D
Now I first need to check out how to install the The Planet5 or finally finish that feed parser lifestream I was am working on.
Visiting the media library could take some time, as all the pictures need to be downloaded and depending on the category it might be many pictures. I hope Delicious Library 2 has a maximum amount/pro preference.

Since I have you on my bloglines, I had to come see what the “horrible colour” scheme was. You’re right. It’s horrible. It hurts my eyes and makes me want to scratch them out. LOL

*yawns*
Out there, on the streets, in the shopping stores you actually can find much worse.
Old joke, old statement, besides that the colours are chosen not to blend, so you might have to look for a decent colour profile for your monitor.
Obviously this is not finished.

Why is everything centered? Change it back or the duck gets it.

In the library? Because that’s how the script export… with thousands of tables, is?

GAHHHHHHHHHH. Ok, fine. But I can’t handle centered. :D

Poppy, I hate centered too, but look at the HTML and you’ll understand why I prefer to wait for Library 2.0 :P
