Last year I participated to the Blogathon for an Emmaus UK group. But I’m a bad whore and never manage it to pimp myself out, pimp myself out enough to make some money. Except when it comes to promote myself for a new job or a promotion. That’s a skill I know, but only because it comes to promoting my knowledge.
Sadly I suck at promoting myself in any other way. And when I become popular, every time I start to fear losing my privacy, my own secret space.
Just as now but with one difference. I am not popular and I’m glad about it (Damn… November Rain by Guns N’ Roses running in the background… that song fucking rocks!). But it wouldn’t be enough for another Thon.
Not that I had any plans this year. Even not for Emmaus. I already do tons for Emmaus and am trying to get the UK branch of the organization into blogging and more important in to proper marketing. But Blogathon 2007… nope.
There was only one cause I could really think of this year and that was Dawg, but personal benefits are not allowed during the Blogathon.
And before I digress, I’ld better come to the point. I’ll be up all 24 hours this year during the ‘Thon. Need a cheer boy? Leave a comment!
